- Lead and manage field crews on industrial and commercial job sites.
- Coordinate day-to-day tasks, work schedules, and resource allocation to meet project deadlines.
- Oversee electrical installations, including building systems wiring, fire alarms, and industrial equipment.
- Ensure work is completed to project specifications, safety standards, and NEC requirements.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, perform start-up and commissioning, and provide technical solutions.
- Read, interpret, and execute project plans, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
- Track progress, document daily logs, and provide project updates to management.
- Order, manage, and monitor materials, tools, and equipment inventory.
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
- Maintain employee time tracking.
- Create weekly lookaheads and meet weekly to review.
- Act as the main point of contact for project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth communication.
- Experience with PlanHub and Procore are a plus.
- Train and mentor journeyman electricians and apprentices to build a strong, efficient team.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in industrial/commercial electrical work is required.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Foreman or Crew Leader.
- Strong understanding of industrial and commercial electrical systems, building wiring, fire alarms, and commissioning processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
- Ability to identify and solve on-site issues efficiently and effectively.
- Owns Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as boots and hardhat and basic electrical hand tools. Company vest will be provided.
- Driver's license with a clean driving record and willingness to allow MVR checks.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
- Willingness to work in travel as needed, and work overtime.
- OSHA 30 Certification (preferred).
