The Commercial HVAC Mechanic for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for maintaining site facilities systems and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, inspecting, and fixing our chillers, pumps. Freezers. cooling, and ventilation systems.
This position is part of the Facilities department located in Miami, Florida and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity.
- Troubleshoot and repair current HVAC system issues.
- The Commercial HVAC Mechanic will occasionally perform other general maintenance activities such as: reset breakers, replace ceiling tiles, patch paint, fix plumbing leaks, etc.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Associate's degree in a related field (or relevant technical education) with 3 or more years of experience with HVAC certification/license
- EPA Certification through the Environmental Protection Agency to handle refrigerants required
- Strong verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex HVAC issues
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Knowledge of computers and computerized maintenance system, preferred
- Apprenticeship as a journeyperson preferred
- Experience in matrix corporate environment
You should be proficient in:
- HVAC
- Facilities Maintenance Experience
- HVAC/R Systems
