Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Commercial Framing Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial framing and construction project management, with proven expertise in estimating and managing projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to accurately estimate materials, labor, and equipment required for commercial framing projects.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for submission to clients.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
- Manage all aspects of project execution, including procurement, scheduling, budgeting, quality control, and safety.
- Coordinate with field personnel to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to provide updates and address concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred. Prefferd not required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial framing and construction project management.
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of framing techniques, materials, and building codes.
- Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
