M&W Commercial Flooring, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Commercial Flooring Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily project take-offs, estimate generation, and pricing for commercial floor covering projects. This role requires a keen attention to detail, the ability to interpret architectural plans and product data, and a strong understanding of various commercial flooring products. The ideal candidate will be self-starting, take ownership of tasks, and ensure that all projects are estimated accurately and delivered on time.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Project Management: Organize and manage plans and files according to the company structure, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Time Management: Efficiently manage time and resources to meet project deadlines, ensuring all estimates are completed on schedule.
Estimate Generation: Provide complete and accurate estimates for potential projects, including a detailed scope of work for each job.
Communication: Effectively communicate with project managers, general contractors, and installation crews about the details of each take-off and estimate.
Plan Review: Identify potential omissions and errors in project plans, and provide Requests for Information (RFIs) to the general contractor or architect to ensure a complete estimate.
Specification Understanding: Review and understand project specifications and scope of work, identifying any issues or conflicts with the plans.
Product Research: Research and identify all necessary items for a complete and accurate estimate, including transitions, trim pieces, and other relevant components.

Technical Skills: Ability to read and comprehend architectural drawings and product specifications.

Schedule:

8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
