Pay: $60,000 - $100,000 DOE
Days: Monday - Friday

In collaboration with a locally owned commercial construction company situated in Clackamas, Oregon, the Specialized Recruiting Group is excited to announce a strategic partnership. Our client is actively seeking a proficient Estimator with a passion for project management. We are currently on the lookout for a dedicated individual to join their esteemed organization in the capacity of Estimator/Project Manager. Specialized Recruiting Group is actively supporting the recruitment process for this key leadership position, where the successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing the entire lifecycle of commercial construction projects, guaranteeing excellence in quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Initiation and Planning:
- Define project scope, objectives, and stakeholders.
- Conduct comprehensive site assessments, facilitate material procurement, and provide
- accurate cost estimations.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulatory requirements and secure necessary permits.
2. Pre-Construction Phase:
- Procure essential materials, tools, and equipment for project commencement.
- Develop detailed and comprehensive cost estimates encompassing labor, materials, and
- overheads.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure a smooth project initiation
- process.
3. Project Execution:
- Manage on-site activities, including site preparation and efficient construction
- processes.
- Supervise task sequencing, resource allocation, and subcontractor management.
- Conduct regular inspections to guarantee adherence to quality standards and project
- timelines.
4. Project Monitoring and Control:
- Monitor project progress against milestones and conduct budget vs. actual expenses analysis.
- Implement effective risk mitigation strategies and address arising issues promptly.
5. Project Closure:
- Ensure project acceptance and compliance with established standards.
- Compile all necessary documentation and facilitate a smooth project handover.
- Conduct post-project analysis and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial construction or a related field.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in commercial construction estimation, budgeting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
