Are you an experienced commercial electrician seeking a challenging and rewarding career in the construction industry? If you have a knack for conduit installation and wiring, we have an exciting opportunity for you! As a permanent commercial electrician, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working on a variety of projects, from small renovations to large-scale commercial constructions. You will be responsible for ensuring all electrical systems are installed and functioning correctly, adhering to the highest safety standards. Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
Perform general electrical maintenance.
Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
Manage and lead projects from conception to completion.
Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
Ensure all installations adhere to contractual documents and relevant standards.
Work with project managers and design engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Ensure compliance with state and local electrical codes.
Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.
Train and mentor apprentice electricians.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Electrician with a minimum of 5 years in the commercial construction industry.
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems, including the installation, troubleshooting and repair of systems.
Proficient in conduit installation and wiring.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
Extensive knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Exceptional listening and communication skills.
Accurate and precise attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team or independently as needed.
Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight.
Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician.
Valid license to practice profession.
Proficient in English.
Strong understanding of the construction industry and working on job sites.
