Your New Role

As a Commercial Duct Installer, you’ll:

• Interpret blueprints and design plans to layout ductwork with precision
• Install duct systems, including hanging, securing, and connecting sections in commercial buildings
• Assemble complex duct systems with fittings, transitions, and dampers for optimal airflow
• Measure and calculate duct sizes and angles for accurate fitting
• Conduct quality checks, inspecting for leaks and compliance with building codes
• Collaborate with HVAC technicians, electricians, and construction teams to coordinate seamless installations
• Follow strict safety protocols, including PPE usage and compliance with OSHA standards

• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and ductwork design principles
• Proficient in reading blueprints and using hand tools
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials, working in confined spaces, and adapting to construction site conditions
• Proven problem-solving skills to address ductwork fit and airflow issues
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with project teams
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
