Job Details
Our company is seeking a Temporary Commercial Contracts Attorney with experience in the tech manufacturing industry to join our legal team. As a Temporary Commercial Contracts Attorney, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, specifically software contracts, and managing contracts throughout their lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the entire contract lifecycle, including contract execution, amendments, renewals, and terminations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, finance, and product development, to ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters.
- Maintain contract templates and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in at least one state required.
- 6+ years of experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts in the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with contract management software preferred.
- Available to work full time hours
