ICON National is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Construction Traveling Superintendent to oversee our commercial construction projects. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a vital role in maintaining client relations, enforcing safety and quality standards, and guiding your team to deliver exceptional results that align with ICON National's commitment to excellence.

- Project Oversight: Supervise all construction activities on-site to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Client Representation: Act as the primary on-site representative for ICON National, maintaining positive relationships with clients, design teams, and officials.
- Team Management: Direct, plan, organize, and coordinate the efforts of the project team, including subcontractors and on-site personnel, to achieve project goals.
- Quality Assurance: Enforce quality control policies and conduct regular inspections to ensure high standards of workmanship.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and OSHA regulations, conducting safety meetings and audits as necessary.
- Schedule Management: Develop, monitor, and adjust project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and project delivery.
- Documentation: Manage all project-related documentation, including RFIs, CORs, pay applications, safety programs, schedules, and permits.
- Training and Development: Mentor and train Assistant Superintendents, fostering their growth and preparing them for future leadership roles.
- Problem Solving: Resolve on-site issues promptly, collaborating with the project manager and other stakeholders to find effective solutions.
- Budget Management: Monitor project expenses, maintain cost records, and implement cost-saving measures while ensuring quality and compliance.
- Communication: Provide regular updates to the Project Manager, General Superintendent, and Senior Superintendent, ensuring clear communication of progress, challenges, and changes.
- Client Coordination: Work closely with clients, property management, and inspectors to ensure all project standards are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Close-Out: Assist with project close-out activities, including resolving warranty issues and ensuring all as-built documentation is completed and submitted.
- Must have experience with affordable housing renovations, track home building, and/or apartment renovations
- Perform independent assignments with guidance from the General Superintendent.
- Develop and maintain effective team strategies for project success.
- Engage in extensive communication with clients, vendors, and field personnel.
- Ensure effective coordination and communication across all project disciplines.
- Lead job site visits, client meetings, and presentations.
- Keep management informed of all project-related issues and developments.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- OSHA 30 safety training certification required.
- Proven experience managing occupied renovation projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook), PDF, and other construction software applications.
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, talking, hearing, and using hands and fingers.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible hours may be required based on project demands, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- The position primarily involves working outdoors on construction sites.

- Employees stay in a company house during the project week and go home every other weekend.
