Commercial Construction Superintendent - Gpac

A well-established, highly respected general contractor in Kansas City is looking for a Lead Superintendent to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Manage daily operations on-site and supervise project teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, project specifications, and quality control requirements.
• Coordinate schedules, resources, and materials, ensuring everything is in place for timely project completion.
• Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction specifications.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare daily reports, including safety logs and project status updates.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent, with a focus on commercial and warehouse projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Experience using construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• OSHA certification and first aid training are preferred.
