A well-established General Contractor with over 45 years of industry experience is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their growing team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing multiple projects, ensuring that all aspects are managed with precision, and delivering exceptional results. Based in Norfolk, NE, you will lead cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects while maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Oversee and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor project teams, ensuring clear communication, coordination, and collaboration across all project stakeholders.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, closely monitoring costs and implementing cost-control measures to stay within financial parameters.
- Schedule Management: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Contract Administration: Manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues early and implement proactive solutions to keep projects on track and within scope.
- Quality Control: Monitor work progress to ensure adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management with a focus on commercial construction
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Education: A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in construction project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients, team members, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Problem-Solving Ability: Ability to address challenges creatively and implement solutions that keep projects on track.
