Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager with at least 5 years of experience managing large-scale projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully overseeing all phases of construction, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of large commercial construction projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Lead project teams, including subcontractors, architects, and consultants, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Oversee contract negotiations, compliance, and change orders.
- Ensure all construction activities meet safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement solutions to mitigate delays or budget overruns.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly.
- Prepare and present progress reports, ensuring transparency with stakeholders.
Construction Project Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
- Proven experience managing large-scale projects exceeding [specific value, e.g., $10M] in size.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam) and scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing teams and client relationships
- Certifications such as PMP, LEED AP, or OSHA 30.
- Experience with both ground-up and renovation commercial projects.
