Commercial Construction Project Estimator- Chicago - Gpac

A well-established and reputable Commercial General Contractor has an immediate need for a proven Estimator to join their organization. This is a great opportunity to work with a stable company, Construction Management and Design/Build services for select clients. They specialize in ground-up construction and renovations in various market sectors.  This is not for a contract hire, but a long-term career as they have an extensive backlog of upcoming projects. This is a top ENR firm with a fantastic family feel and great Culture.  Opportunities with this company don't happen very often so we typically have great interest!

Estimator Duties:

• Responsible for bid day preparation
• Preconstruction communications
• Bid documents such as plans and specifications
• Maintaining job folder organization
• Conceptual budgets/project costs based on quantity surveys with senior staff

Estimator Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Estimator for a licensed General Contractor
• Candidates should have a four-year degree in Construction Management, Business Management, Architecture, Engineering or up to four years of directly related field experience
