Commercial Construction Hardscape Division Manager - 9/2024 at Prestige Recruiting Firm

Our client, a well-established commercial landscaping company with over 30 years of experience in the Jacksonville area, is seeking a Commercial Construction Hardscape Division Manager to lead and grow their hardscape division. This division specializes in comprehensive site packages for new residential and commercial developments, including projects such as concrete flatwork, walls, lighting, drainage systems, and other hardscape features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, development, and execution of hardscape projects
• Manage a $2M hardscape division, focusing on growth and profitability
• Collaborate with developers, general contractors, builders, and architects to deliver high-quality hardscape solutions
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor management, and quality control
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in hardscape or landscape construction, particularly in large commercial projects
• Proven track record of managing teams and projects with budgets exceeding $1M
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and equipment related to hardscape
• Ability to read blueprints and work with architects and engineers
• Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
• Understanding of construction safety standards and regulations
• Experience working with developers, general contractors, and other key stakeholders
