Commercial Building Project Manager - Media Real Estate Company

Media Real Estate, A Media, PA-based Property Management Company is seeking a full-time Commercial Building Project Manager to join our team! This person will join our Architectural/ Construction department to design and renovate existing commercial suites. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with prior experience in residential and commercial project management. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• This position primarily deals with commercial buildings, with some residential building projects from time to time
• Works alongside in-house real estate agents to assess potential and current tenants' needs, space requirements, program criteria, and develops layouts/ideas accordingly
• Produces/provides initial sketches, plans, specifications, and detailed drawings of suites, floors, and buildings as needed
• Works with plans in CAD format
• Files necessary permits with local municipalities
• Estimates costs for fit-outs, calculates up-charges, and tracks expenses
• Meets with tenants to choose selections (i.e., finishes, flooring, paint, carpet)
• Manages in-house construction technician and third-party contractors to ensure work is carried out according to plan/timeline
• Resolves issues during construction phase
• Reviews/approves contractor invoices and in-house construction technician timecard

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Solid working knowledge of subject matter, policies, procedures, and practices
• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience
• Experience with departmental budgeting, planning, and procedural change
• The ability to pass a background check and drug screening
