Position Description

Seeking Product Data Analyst to provide research, analytical assessments, and project management support to the Wiring Devices product management team. You will work on projects of various levels of complexity and will be involved in all project phases including research & strategy development, implementation, and performance analysis. We need strong skills in PowerBI and Tableau
This is a a full-time position with benefits. Remote position available to the right candidate.
Role and Responsibilities:

* Take data from various sources and perform data analysis using tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
* Review customer needs and specifications in order to determine appropriate bill of material, competitive price level and shipment cycle for commercial and industrial construction job submittals.
* Leverage market forecast databases to identify opportunities to drive commercial and industrial products into the market.
* Work with direct sales and rep agencies to align on strategy, targets, and metrics for tracking commercial and industrial sales growth.
* Advise as technical and commercial liaison between field sales, end user/customers, distributors and other product line functions such as engineering, manufacturing, purchasing, scheduling and management.
* Provide support in evaluating whether the business is selling the right products, to the right customer segments, at the right price.
* Lead functional projects to analyze the product offering to support rationalization and discontinuation of necessary SKUs.
* Participate in the identification and implementation of new business processes and tools, and support improvement of existing processes.
* Research competitor product offerings, tools, and marketing programs.
* Work with cross-functional teams in support of strategic initiatives.
* Other duties as assigned.

Primary Skills Required

* Solid computer skills with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)* Strong analytical abilities (Including Intermediate-to-advanced Excel) to integrate and assess market data and build KPI dashboards* Familiarity with business intelligence reporting tools (PowerBI) and/or Tableau* Ability to perform extensive data analysis to provide actionable insights to management * Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize accordingly* Ability to work independently and in a group environment and accept constructive feedback* Excellent problem-solving, task prioritization, and follow-up skills required* Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment* Ability to work with cross functional teams and colleagues across the country* Highly motivated and be enthusiastic, agile, shows initiative and is good at multi-tasking* Be able to work through ambiguity and feel comfortable making decisions.* Have business acumen, who can think and act strategically to anticipate customer needs, grow the business, and outperform our markets.

* Minimum Associates degree in Marketing, Business, or related field* Bachelor's degree desired
