SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for supporting the job activities for one or more commercial, community, and business banking officers. General duties include business loan documentation, portfolio reporting and other related duties. This position further functions in various customer service roles related to administration, and follow up and support for business loan and deposit relationships.

CLERICAL SKILLS:
* Ability to assist and support officers with all aspects of the loan and deposit account origination process.
* Must be able to assist with and manage the support aspects of the credit approval process including inputting and/or disseminating loan request information, working with, as necessary, Credit Risk Management and Business Banking Support underwriting groups.
* Ability to assure documentation quality through appropriate follow-up and clearing of exceptions.
* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
* Ability to type with speed and accuracy.
* Knowledge and ability to learn banking systems and software programs necessary for efficient completion of duties.
* Ability to perform specialized or confidential administrative duties.
* Must have the ability to compile data, write reports and correspondence.
* Must possess the willingness to accept job duties as outlined in the current job description or as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* Associate's degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school or six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred.
CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS:
* Willingness to provide a level of service which will clearly differentiate us from our competitors.
* Employee must be willing to become familiar with and promote bank products and services.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
* Banking is a highly regulated industry and you will be expected to acquire and maintain a proficiency in the bank's policies and procedures, and adhere to all laws, rules and regulations that are applicable to your conduct and the work you will be performing. You will also be expected to complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
