Color Lab Technician at ICONMA, LLC

Our Client, a Coatings and Paints company, is looking for Color Lab Technician for their Springdale, PA location

Responsibilities:

• Provides support for technical issues.
• Identifies, researches and resolves routine technical problems of low complexity.
• Technicians are responsible for producing liquid samples by following a formulation recipe in the blending of paint samples.
• Typical sample sizes are ½ pint to 1 quart.
• Occasionally, 5-gallon pails must be produced as needed for internal and external equipment trials.
• Application and preparation of coated wood, vinyl, or fiberglass samples by following application process sequence as directed.
• Physical property testing of coated samples including adhesion, abrasion resistance, stain/chemical resistance, scratch resistance, gloss retention, etc. 
• Color matching on wood substrates using stains and/or with opaque systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Two years of college level math and science or equivalent experience desirable, but not required.
