Collision Center Body Technician - Graham Automotive

Graham Automotive has been a part of the Sioux Falls community for over 50 years. We don't want to just employ you, we want to see you grow. This fast-paced busy shop is looking to hire a body shop technician for our VW, Audi and Volvo dealership.

Job Responsibilities:

• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window-and-seat-operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle body and fenders.

• Fill depressions with body filler.

• Remove damaged fenders, panels

• Bolt or weld replacement parts in position, using wrenches or welding equipment.

• Straighten bent automobile frames.

• File, grind and sand repaired surfaces.

• Refinish repaired surface.

• Aim headlights, align wheels, and bleed hydraulic brake system.

• Paint surfaces after performing body repairs.

• Repair or replace defective mechanical parts

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 Years of auto body repair experience preferred

• Knowledge/experience in all facets of body shop repair

• Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills, using wrenches and cutting torch.

• Bolt or weld replacement parts in position, using wrenches or welding equipment.

• Straighten bent automobile frames

• Repair or replace defective mechanical parts

• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

• Working knowledge of all aspects of repairs for damaged body parts and bodies of vehicles.

• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and possess a valid driver license.
