College Administrative Event Coordinator from Vanguard Group Staffing, Inc.

Long-term temporary, potential temporary-to-direct hire role assisting University Recruitment with Student Recruiting and Accepted Student Events. Please have experience with administrative/logistical events support. Experience working in an academic setting is a plus. Please have excellent MS Office acumen, superb organizational, follow-up, and communication skills, and the ability to thrive at multi-tasking.

List of job requirements.

• Reserving rooms for events/meetings on multiple campuses
• Utilizing online project management platform
• Arranging catering and meetings 
• Sourcing vendors, obtaining quotes for items such as business cards, informational brochures and pamphlets, swag (pens, water bottles, etc.)
• Sending logos to outside vendors for the creation of promotional items
• Entering information for PO’s and matching up with invoices
• Sorting items received for events, logging in MS Excel, separating and coordinating for shipment and packing up boxes for events
• Assisting with Open Houses and other Recruiting events as well as Accepted Student galas and orientations
