Schedules can be subject to change and individuals must be flexible to work any shift between the department hours of 8:00am - 7:00pm Monday-Thursday; 9:00am - 6:00pm Friday, 8:00am - 12:00pm rotating Saturdays.

As a Collections Supervisor, you will be responsible for the following:
- Leading the collection team in daily assignments of default resolution, monitor the collection of accounts, and provide training to staff members on the latest techniques of account resolution
- Serving as a resource to branches and departments regarding past due and charged off accounts, CPI questions, transactions, and specialized areas such as legal, deceased, bankruptcy, returned checks and credit bureau disputes
- Being the first line of supervisory escalation for their team & carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, departmental procedures, and applicable laws
Salary Range:
The salary range starts at $92,273.88; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.
Education/Experience:
You must have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or related field and three years’ experience in credit and collections, collateral remarketing/sales or auction experience are required. One-year supervisory experience is also required.
Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education. Applicable additional education levels may be eligible to satisfy experience requirements.

Keys to success:
In order to be successful as a Collections Supervisor, you must possess these qualifications:
- Proficient knowledge of the lending process and teller operations
- Proficient knowledge of Bankruptcy Code, Uniform Commercial Code, UCCC and bankruptcy revision act of 1994; knowledge of Reg. CC, Reg. B, and Reg Z
- Advanced knowledge of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and Fair Debt Collections Practices Act; knowledge of private mortgage insurance, FannieMae and VA reporting requirements
- Proficient knowledge of courtroom procedures and legislation affecting collections
- Proficient knowledge of collateral protection insurance policy and reporting requirements
- Ability to maximize recovery in situations while maintaining positive member relations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Windows operating environment
- Proficient knowledge of the phone system and applications to gauge productivity and limit any call risk to TFCU
