Collections Specialist - Robert Half

Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry in Milwaukie, Oregon. This role is a contract engagement, where the primary task will be to manage customer accounts with outstanding balances and formulate effective payment plans. Responsibilities: - Engage with customers to understand the reasons for account delinquency and devise appropriate solutions. - Propose corrective actions in a timely manner to address delinquency issues. - Handle inbound collection and customer service telephone inquiries promptly and efficiently. - Foster a detail-oriented team environment by effectively communicating with colleagues, customers, and vendors. - Utilize CRM tools to ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications. - Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and perform necessary billing functions. - Implement collection processes as needed. Requirements - Proven experience in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry is necessary. - Must have a solid understanding of CRM systems and their application in a business setting. - Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) or customer service experience is required. - Ability to handle answering inbound calls professionally and efficiently. - Experience in executing billing functions and understanding of billing procedures. - Demonstrated knowledge of collection processes and ability to manage them effectively.
