Job Summary Reviews delinquent files to determine overall collectability while protecting the Bank's principal. When deciding appropriate collection remedy for delinquent files, ensures actions taken adhere to established procedures, company policies and industry regulations. Encourages delinquent account holders to self-cure through proper technology channels. Assists team in training other collectors and in improving procedures. Job Duties and Responsibilities Reviews delinquent files to determine overall collectability while protecting the Bank's principal When deciding appropriate collection remedy for delinquent files, ensures actions taken adhere to established procedures, company policies and industry regulations. Encourages delinquent account holders to self-cure through proper technology channels. Assists team in training other collectors and in improving procedures. Assists with special assignments. Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion. Performs other related duties as required.
