Collections Specialist - ANDON SPECIALTIES, INC.

ANDON Specialties, Inc. is searching for a Collections Specialist to support the accounting department from our office in Houston, TX.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Responsibilities:

• Proactively communicate with customers in advance of invoice due dates to ensure timely payments.
• Pursue customers that owe payment.
• Must be persistent and professional in communications with customers while trying to obtain payment.
• Research and solve payment discrepancies.
• Work closely with Accounts Receivable Specialist as needed.

HOW TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE? Preferred experience:

• 2-3 years previous accounting experience
• College degree or related experience
• Collections experience and knowledge of basic accounting principles
