Collections Analyst -- International Machinery Supplier at Activ8

An international servicer and supplier of fabricated equipment by the Wood Dale, IL area is looking for a Collections Analyst who will be responsible for managing customer accounts, administrative support, and resolving credit/collections-related issues.

This is a full time, direct hire role with 9am – 5pm hours. Must be able to work 100% on-site.

Responsibilities:
• Contact customers with overdue accounts, prioritize collections efforts, and resolve
payment issues
• Respond to customer inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions
regarding their accounts and payment status
• Identify account discrepancies and suggest methods to prevent future issues
• Prepare monthly reports on portfolio performance, including collections, aging
analysis, and portfolio trends
• Review accounts regularly to ensure timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding
issues
• Assist with administrative tasks to support the credit team
• Terminate UCC and PPSA finance agreement filings as required.
• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
• Associate’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in a collections or customer service role, preferably in
a financial or loan servicing environment
• Prior experience handling accounts receivable, collections, or similar
responsibilities is highly preferred
This position includes an office work environment. While performing the duties of this
job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in
excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel
parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist,
talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color
vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
