Job Title: Collections Specialist
The Collections Specialist will report to the Accounting Supervisor and be responsible for customer assistance and collections, resolving client discrepancies, monitoring accounts, processing daily incoming monies, along with various A/R administrative work.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with inquiries and account issues.
- Manage collections and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Resolve discrepancies and disputes efficiently.
- Monitor account statuses and report on collections progress.
- Process daily incoming payments accurately.
- Perform various A/R administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in finance/accounting preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
