Damar’s service and support array has expanded over the years, providing a full continuum of care including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) clinics, residential and group home operations for children and adults, intensive behavioral interventions, diagnostic and evaluation services, community-based services for child welfare and juvenile justice involved children and families, and primary and outpatient behavioral healthcare services, serving more than 1,500 individuals each day. Damar is seeking a Collaborating Physician for clinical chart review. This is a remote opportunity.
:What you need to be considered...
- Board Certified Physician with a medical license to practice in the state of Indiana.
- Experience or interest in working in mental health or with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities is ideal.
- Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the appropriate specialty practice (e.g. Family Practice or Internal Medicine) techniques and treatment processes.
- Must demonstrate client \icentered values of Trauma Informed Care as well as work effectively with a broad team of other health care professionals.
- Minimum age of 21 per licensure requirements.
- Must meet and maintain background screening requirements of the program(s) assigned to.
- No felony convictions or other criminal offenses involving a dependent population.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Essential Job Functions:
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight (up to 35lbs); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; to travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
