We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cold End Process Improver to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills in electrical engineering, six sigma, lean principles, and more, to optimize our manufacturing processes and drive operational excellence. You will play a pivotal role in the continuous improvement of our cold end processes, working closely with our production team to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:
As a Cold End Process Improver, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Developing and implementing strategies to improve cold end processes, with a focus on enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and improving product quality.
2. Utilizing your expertise in electrical engineering to troubleshoot and solve complex problems related to our cold end processes.
3. Applying Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to drive process improvement initiatives.
4. Working closely with the production team to ensure seamless integration of new processes and technologies.
5. Conducting regular audits of cold end processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
7. Utilizing your knowledge of glass, furnace, and CVD processes to optimize our cold end operations.
8. Providing technical training and support to the production team to ensure efficient operation of cold end processes.
9. Developing and maintaining detailed documentation of cold end processes, including process maps, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
10. Conducting root cause analysis of process failures and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and processes, with a focus on cold end operations.
5. Experience with glass, furnace, and CVD processes.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex process issues.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to a non-technical audience.
8. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
9. High level of attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and detailed process documentation.
10. Strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
