Location: Beaver Dam, WI
Wage: $20.36/hour; up to $26.20/hour based on experience; wage increase every 6 months
Hours: 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m., M-F
Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up the spring coiling machines.
- Install and adjust all tooling required to coil the springs.
- Moving, loading, and unloading materials utilizing forklifts, hand truck or crane.
- Completes the coiling of springs according to work order.
- Inspects springs for proper dimensions and checks for desired length.
- Cleans machines and performs minor maintenance.
- Assists less experienced operators in selection of tooling and operation of equipment.
- Brake press, punch press, CNC or manual press background is a plus
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Knowledge of machine tool capabilities and shop math
- Ability to read a caliper
- HS diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or when necessary on the job training is used.
