CEDAR CITY CORPORATION is seeking qualified individuals to fill a Code Enforcement Officer position. Open until filled.
DESCRIPTION: This position, under general supervision, identifies and solves a variety of quality-of-life issues categorized as nuisances and other incivilities of a community concern.
SALARY/BENEFITS: Starting at $22.53/hour. The City participates in the Utah Retirement System and currently provides health, dental, vision and life insurance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a United States Citizen; or a legal permanent resident
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be at least 19 years of age at the time of appointment.
- Must possess a valid Utah Driver License.
- Must have no felony or domestic violence convictions.
- Must be "Special Functions Officer" certified
- Prior to hire, must be able to pass the P.O.S.T. physical fitness requirements
- Consideration will be given for military service and Special Functions Certification.
P.O.S.T. PHYSICAL FITNESS ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS:
-1.5 mile run in sixteen minutes and eleven seconds
-14.5" vertical jump
-16 pushups
-thirty second isometric plank
