Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for “Cobol Developer with Energy/Utility” to join in our team of IT professionals in a permanent role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are looking for an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the ideal opportunity for you!

Location : Albuquerque - NM

 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Energy/Utility domain background

·       5-8 years in utility industry with extensive knowledge in CIS, billing processes, meter to cash processes

·       Strong business analysis skills and documentation skills (able to create a business requirements document, functional specification etc)

·       Strong business analysis skills and documentation skills (able to create a business requirements document, functional specification etc)

·       Ability to schedule and conduct meetings with business and IT stakeholders 

·       Ability to analyze any system exceptions and simulate the problem /ticket

·       Ability to co-ordinate and work with offshore development team

·       Strong knowledge of database technologies and willingness to learn multiple technologies including SQL,  PL/SQL, Linux Shell scripting, Automic etc.

·        

Experience Required:

•           5-8 years in utility industry with extensive knowledge in CIS, billing processes, meter to cash processes

•           Strong business analysis skills and documentation skills (able to create a business requirements document, functional specification etc)

•            Strong COBOL background  SQL, PL/SQL, Automic batch job scheduler

•           Knowledge of Banner Product

 

 

Work Authorization:

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
