Job Summary:
The Pavement Markings Applicator is responsible for safely performing a variety of tasks associated with the maintenance, operation and installation of parking lines, pavement markings, and other striping related markings.

The Pavement Markings Applicator is responsible for safely performing a variety of tasks associated with the maintenance, operation and installation of parking lines, pavement markings, and other striping related markings.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret prints, drawings and specifications as required to lay-out various traffic stripes and pavement markings.
- Mark out various traffic lanes, parking stalls, ADA spots, fire lanes and other markings as required by the scope of work.
- Operate striping equipment for striping on parking lots, playgrounds, sports facilities, etc.
- May operate a variety of hand and power tools as well as other equipment needed to complete jobs within specifications.
- Additional tasks of other positions and duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires the following motions: stretching, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, twisting, throwing, walking, standing, reaching, and squatting.
- Physical ability to operate equipment under temperature extremes, for extended hours of time.
- Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
- May be exposed to vehicular traffic.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Additional Requirements:
- Attendance is required according to company attendance policy to ensure the crew is able to operate at normal efficiency level.
- Participates and cooperates in all Company scheduled training, briefings, and meetings.
- Provides a positive professional attitude when dealing with co-workers, customers, and the public.
- Ability to be flexible with last minute schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes. Overtime work may be required.
- Abide by Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
- Applicants applying for driving positions must be a minimum of 25 years of age to meet insurance underwriting requirements for insurability.
Preferred Background:
- Pavement Marking experience Prefferred!
- A valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation.
- Spanish proficiency a plus but NOT a requirement.
