About the Job
Commander, Navy Regional Maintenance Center (CNRMC) is an Echelon III command (field activity) under Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) with a mission to deliver quality, cost-wise material readiness in support of U.S. Naval forces worldwide. CNRMC is responsible for coordinating the depot- and intermediate-level maintenance of the Navy's surface fleet, and for resourcing the requirements necessary to meet ships maintenance availability schedules.
The Engineering Operations Analyst will provide on-site support to CNRMC Engineering (Code 200) in developing and executing standardized maintenance processes and common policy to sustain a consistent business model across the RMCs and ultimately provide cost-effective readiness solutions to the warfighter.
Routine duties include:
- Interface with senior military/civilian management personnel
- Conduct independent engineering studies, investigations, research, and analysis in support of short- and long-term engineering projects
- Prepare and develop engineering reports, briefs and correspondence to be briefed at the Flag/SES level
- Prepare clients and process stakeholders for events via advance briefings and communications, including JFMM BoD, SSRAC and Fleet Integrated Sustainment Team (FIST)
- Contribute to the development of methodologies to align organizations and processes to achieve material readiness goals for surface force ships
- Develop/provide reports/information along with the data implications/significance to senior military/civilian management for recommended policy and procedural improvements
- Bachelors degree in a related field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelors - HS Diploma or GED is required.
- Five or more years of experience working in Navy ship maintenance specifically maintenance and modernization availabilities
- Familiarity with the JFMM and NAVSEA Standard Items
- Must have a working knowledge of the RMCs, Project and Maintenance Team
- Experience with working independently and managing several projects simultaneously
- Must have an active SECRET security clearance and be able to obtain a CAC
- Must be able to coordinate and facilitate high-level events
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and other database management tools and software, specifically, advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Superb customer interaction

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
