CNC Vertical Turning Lathe Operator

Pay: $25-45/hr. (depending on experience level) with 15% Shift Differential 

2nd Shift: Mon-Thu (3:30pm to 2am)

Description:

• The CNC VTL Machine Operator will be joining the machine shop where the machining is one off large parts. The operator will run one of the two HNK Vertical Turning Lathe Centers and the other heavy machining equipment.  

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience running a large CNC Vertical Turning Lathe
• Must understand Fanuc Programming G and M code, machine is equipped with a Fanuc control machine.
• Ability to work in a safe, cautious manner, exercising care and concern for people, equipment, and product
• Knowledge of materials lifting equipment operation
• Work independently and with others, demonstrating responsible behavior and attention to detail
• Ability to perform daily preventative maintenance measures to ensure safety of equipment and work environment
• Knowledge of crane rigging experience with large parts a plus
• Ability to read and work off of blueprints
• Strong math skills
