CNC TECHNICIAN - Spherion

Now hiring for CNC Technician. Spherion of Connecticut currently has CNC Technician opportunities available to support our local, industry leading customer. Our CNC Technician will be working a first shift with limited required OT. The CNC Technician will support our customers for the setup, operation, and maintenance of CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Mon thru Fri. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Set up CNC machines according to job specifications, including loading programs, selecting tooling, and securing workpieces.
Operate CNC machines to produce parts and components within specified tolerances and quality standards.
Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to ensure proper functioning.
Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or damaged parts.
Troubleshoot technical issues and perform repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, using precision measuring tools and equipment.
Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, tooling changes, and production counts.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace.
Train and mentor junior technicians and machine operators as needed.

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Experience:

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical training preferred
