CNC Shift Supervisor - Selective Staffing Solutions

Job Overview:We are currently looking for a dedicated 2nd shift CNC Shift Supervisor. The ideal candidate would be willing to act as a working supervisor who would supervise and lead the machine shop floor, following a work schedule;maintaining safety standards, and providing training and guidance where necessary. Plans and assigns work implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.
Responsibilities:

• Must possess the ability to motivate, mentor, provide technical direction, and respond to individual employee needs.
• Balance quality, productivity, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas;working to continuously improve in all areas.
• Maintain and enforce safety standards across shop floor.
• Exercise good judgment and demonstrate excellent communication skills (verbal, written and interpersonal).
• The ability to be organized and prioritize floor needs.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school or equivalent education.
• Minimum 5 years of machining experience, preferably with 2 of those years being in supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Forklift experience preferred. 
• Milling experience preferred.
