CNC Setup Machinist

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be making setups on CNC lathes and or CNC milling machines. You will be checking your own work and then showing an operator how to run and inspect the parts using the print and an in process inspection report. You may at times have to run your own setup. You will need to be able to follow verbal and written instructions at all times.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. A minimum of 2 years of actual operating experience on a CNC lathe or mill.
2. A minimum of 2 years of actual setup experience on a CNC lathe or mill in a shop.
3. Must be able to inspect your own work.
4. Must have your own tools (minimum amount some micrometers caliper indicator files toolbox)
5. Must have a good knowledge of reading a blueprint.
6. Must be able to give and understand verbal instructions.

A PLUS

If you have any experience on 4^th axis milling setups also experience on horizontal milling setup. We also have lathe setups with C and Y axis live tooling.

Your hourly rate is reflected by your experience and skill level.
