Job Overview:
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC mills or routers to produce high-precision components critical to semiconductor manufacturing. You'll work with advanced machinery to create parts used in the production of semiconductors, including photomasks, wafer carriers, and precision fixtures. You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality and accuracy within a cleanroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate CNC mills/routers to produce semiconductor-related components.
- Interpret CAD files and technical drawings to create precise parts within tight tolerances.
- Monitor and adjust machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration on CNC equipment.
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Maintain cleanroom protocols and adhere to strict safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and part quality.
Qualifications:
Essential:
- Proven experience operating CNC mills or routers, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).
- Ability to work with tight tolerances, typically +/- 0.0005”.
- Understanding of materials used in semiconductor manufacturing, such as metals, ceramics, and plastics.
- Attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.
Preferred:
- Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Certifications in CNC machining (e.g., NIMS, FANUC).
- Familiarity with cleanroom environments and protocols.

- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
- Precision-focused, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and standards.
