Job Overview:

As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC mills or routers to produce high-precision components critical to semiconductor manufacturing. You'll work with advanced machinery to create parts used in the production of semiconductors, including photomasks, wafer carriers, and precision fixtures. You’ll play a key role in ensuring quality and accuracy within a cleanroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate CNC mills/routers to produce semiconductor-related components.
• Interpret CAD files and technical drawings to create precise parts within tight tolerances.
• Monitor and adjust machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration on CNC equipment.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Maintain cleanroom protocols and adhere to strict safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes and part quality.

Qualifications:

Essential:

• Proven experience operating CNC mills or routers, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of G-code and M-code programming.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).
• Ability to work with tight tolerances, typically +/- 0.0005”.
• Understanding of materials used in semiconductor manufacturing, such as metals, ceramics, and plastics.
• Attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.

Preferred:

• Experience in semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Certifications in CNC machining (e.g., NIMS, FANUC).
• Familiarity with cleanroom environments and protocols.

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
• Precision-focused, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and standards.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
