Job Details

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated CNC Programmer and Setup to join our Manufacturing team. This role will involve working closely with our state-of-the-art CNC machinery and equipment, including EDM machines, Mill, Lathe, and 5 Axis Machining. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tooling, blueprints, gd&t, and the use of measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers. If you are technically proficient, detail-oriented, and eager to take on a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain CNC programs for our manufacturing operations.
Set up and operate CNC machines, including EDM machines, Mill, Lathe, and 5 Axis Machining equipment.
Read and interpret technical blueprints and plans to produce accurate, high-quality components.
Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure products meet strict quality standards.
Work with tooling team to design and produce custom tools and dies as required.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC programs and machinery.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize production processes and improve efficiency.
Keep up-to-date with advancements in CNC programming and machinery, implementing new techniques and technologies as appropriate.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a CNC programming and setup role within the manufacturing industry.
Extensive knowledge of CNC machinery and equipment, including EDM machines, Mill, Lathe, and 5 Axis Machining.
Proficiency in the use of precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers.
Strong understanding of blueprints, gd&t, and tooling.
Experience with Verisurf or similar software is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
A relevant technical degree or certification is preferred, but not required.
