Key Responsibilities
- CNC Machine Operation:
- Set up and operate 3-axis CNC machines to ensure precision and efficiency.
- Load materials, secure workpieces, and adjust tooling as needed.
- Monitor machine operations, identifying and addressing any deviations or malfunctions.
- Program Development:
- Create and modify CNC programs using 3D CAD software.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to meet project specifications.
- Refine programs for improved efficiency and product quality.
- Material Preparation:
- Select and measure materials, preparing them for machining.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints for accurate dimensions.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct quality checks on finished components to meet specifications.
- Implement quality control measures to minimize errors and waste.
- Maintenance and Safety:
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance.
- Adhere to strict safety guidelines and maintain an organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a 3-Axis CNC Operator, including setup and operation.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of machining processes, tools, and materials.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred).
