We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC programming, set up and operation along with manual machining skills, and quality control.
Responsibilities
CNC Programming: Develop, optimize, and implement CNC programs to manufacture precise components.
Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to perform complex machining operations.
Blueprint Interpretation: Accurately interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine machining requirements.
Quality Assurance: Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to tolerances and standards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve machine malfunctions and programming errors to minimize downtime.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC programming.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software. Solidworks, Heidenhain, Mastercam or Fusion 360.
Strong understanding of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
Experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
