CNC PROGRAMMER - Spherion

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in programming and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts. If you have a strong mechanical background and proficiency in CAD/CAM software, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Reading specifications off mechanical drawings and ensuring they are met.

- Preparing and loading materials onto machines.

- Creating CAM files from Autodesk Fusion 360 CAD models.

- Run tests on machines to check machine outputs according to specifications.

- Operate machines for full cycle fabrication on large quantity of parts.

- Examine and maintain machinery regularly to ensure functionality.

- Supervise machines during execution and make any necessary adjustments to manufacture a better result.

- Inspect completed parts and compare them to the specifications and requirements of the blueprint, to determine if the process was properly completed.

- Performs all work in compliance with the company's quality and safety systems, policies, and procedures.

- Maintain safe, clean and organized working conditions by adhering to safety and housekeeping procedures.

- Update job knowledge by participating in company-arranged educational opportunities, reading technical publications, trying new technologies, and discussing and sharing experiences with others.

Qualifications:
- Experience with Autodesk 360 or an equivalent CAD/CAM environment.

- Demonstrated experience as CNC operator.

- Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.

- Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.

- Mechanical aptitude and proficient math skills

- A BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
