Education and Experience Requirements:
Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, or 2+ years’ experience with CNC machining

Skills Requirements:
•Strong CAD/CAM skills
•Strong experience in the setup of CNC machines
•Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T
•Strong problem solving and analytical skills
•Good organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
•Good Project management skills
•Ability to work will in a cross-functional team
•Capable of standing for extended periods of time
•Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for short periods of time

Position Description:
CNC Programmer/Engineer will create, modify & manage programs to machine stamping tool components, machining fixtures and production parts.
CNC Programmer/Engineer will create, modify & manage programs to machine stamping tool components, machining fixtures and production parts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Work with Machinists, Operators, Design Engineers and Quality Control personnel to ensure part quality and identify process improvement opportunities
•Manage/Develop existing programs while creating new improved processes for production optimization.
•Train Setup personnel and Operators to run the processes that you work on
•Make setup documents to communicate clearly and effectively with Setup personnel and Operators
•Manage the machining process by working with CNC Setup personnel and Operators to resolve setup/operational issues
•Create/Modify 3D models and assemblies for machined parts that comply with internal and customer blueprints
•Assist in the selection of cutting tools, toolholders and work holding fixtures
•Work with Machinists, Operators, Design Engineers and Quality Control personnel to ensure part quality and identify process improvement opportunities
