CNC Programmer
We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Programmer to join our team. As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs to meet production needs, ensuring precision and efficiency in manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will bring a strong background in machining and programming, with the ability to create programs for a variety of CNC machines and collaborate with machinists to ensure seamless production. This role offers opportunities to work on challenging projects while advancing your skills and expertise in CNC programming.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize CNC programs using MasterCam, Mazatrol, and other CAD/CAM software.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to determine optimal machining processes.
- Troubleshoot and refine existing CNC programs to improve accuracy and cycle times.
- Create and modify programs for CNC mills and lathes, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
- Conduct trial runs and inspect output to ensure parts meet exacting quality standards.
- Stay current with advancements in programming technologies and machining processes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and contribute ideas for operational enhancements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or technical certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
- Proficiency in MasterCam, Mazatrol, or similar CAD/CAM software.
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
- Hands-on experience with CNC mills and lathes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.
- Self-motivation and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic machinist tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) and understanding of safety protocols.
Work Schedule:
- Typically first shift Monday-Friday.
- Flexible scheduling options available based on production needs.
