CNC Programmer - Aquinas Consulting

Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a CNC Programmer job. In this role, you will program complex aerospace components, process various materials such as aluminum, magnesium, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium, and troubleshoot or optimize existing programs. You will work with CAD models and probing to achieve product specifications and business objectives.

CNC Programmer job Responsibilities:

• Program complex aerospace components, with a preference for experience with CAD models and probing.
• Process parts made from a variety of materials, including aluminum, magnesium, stainless steel, Inconel, and titanium.
• Determine processes and tools required to meet product specifications and business objectives.
• Read and interpret blueprints, geometric tolerances, and symbols to meet military and commercial specifications.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing programs.

Qualifications:

• Proficient with Mastercam, Vericut, and experienced in programming 3, 4, and 5-axis machines.
• Ability to program from drawings and operation process sheets.
• Highly organized and able to maintain programming software, revisions, post processors, and program files & tool lists.
• Punctual, reliable, and willing to work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• 3-5 years of practical experience or equivalent education (willing to train candidates with prior shop experience and a desire to learn).
