We are currently seeking a seasoned CNC Programmer for a permanent position within our dynamic manufacturing team. This role is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented and technology-driven professional to utilize their skills in CNC programming, specifically with CNC Lathe and CNC Mills. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and improving CNC programs, ensuring the highest level of precision and efficiency in our manufacturing processes. This role is critical to maintaining the quality of our products and the efficiency of our production line.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software to control CNC Lathe and CNC Mills.
2. Review and interpret technical drawings, models, and specifications to determine the sequence of operations.
3. Conduct regular tests and inspections of programmed CNC machinery to ensure functionality and performance.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the production process.
5. Collaborate with the production and engineering teams to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
6. Maintain detailed records of each machine's programs and modifications.
7. Train and guide machine operators on new programs and modifications.
8. Implement and adhere to safety and compliance procedures.
9. Continuously research and implement new programming methods to improve efficiency and productivity.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer, specifically with CNC Lathe and CNC Mills.
2. Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
3. Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
4. Excellent knowledge of the properties of metals and other materials used in manufacturing.
5. Ability to read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical team members.
8. Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
9. Commitment to adhering to all safety and compliance regulations.
10. Relevant certification or diploma in a related field would be a plus.
