COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
A leader in NDT testing equipment, calibration standards, probes, CNC machining and EDM services. We manufacture components for the heat exchanger, nuclear, aerospace industries, among others and export to over 50 countries. We have very little production work, instead, focus on custom made components. Works only the day shift. Due to growth, seeks a CNC programmer to help program new machine.'
MONDAY - FRIDAY 8:00am-4:30pm, NO WEEKENDS! (unless completely necessary)
LOCATION:
Just south of Charlotte in Clover, SC. MUST BE WITHIN 40 MINUTES!
SKILLS:
An ideal candidate will have expertise in manual lathe and mills or be able to GCode complex CNC programs, or have expertise in EDM machining. This is not a CNC operator position. The ideal person will have CNC programming experience, but also have some experience in CNC manual machining as well. Exceptional Knowledge in both CNC lathes and mills, AutoCAD, EDM sinker, wire EDM.
RESPONSIBILITES:
• Operate manual lathes and milling machines • Operate various EDM equipment (Will offer training) • Program and operate CNC milling machines and lathes (desired) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Agile with manual lathes and milling machines • Experience with EDM Sinker, wire EDM and hole popper is preferred • Experience with CNC milling machines and lathes • Positive can-do attitude • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Focused on quality and results oriented • Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time while completing fast and accurate deliverables Optional Skills and Abilities • Basic AutoCAD, Fusion 360 or Inventor would be a plus • Post processing experience with Mastercam or Esprit would be beneficial • Understanding of eddy current and UT methods a plus • Understanding of quality programs
