About the Job
Currently seeking a CNC Programmer for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Attleboro, MA.
Responsibilities of CNC Programmer include:
-Operate CNC machines, Bridgeport, and other manufacturing machines to produce fixtures, tooling, and components
-Create CNC programs using blueprints, specifications, G-code and DNC
-Setup and maintain machines
-Align and secure fixtures, cutting tools, attachments etc onto machines
-Diagnose machine malfunctions and make adjustments or repairs as needed
-Trouble shoot programs, problems or out-of-tolerance conditions
-Create
-Evaluate tooling to improve production while holding tight tolerances input setup and process sheets
-Utilize drawing, prints, measurement hand tools, microscopes, and computers to complete tasks and ensure standards are met
-Perform quality checks and establish where improvements can be made
-Assist and train other operators as needed
Requirements of CNC Programmer:
-Minimum High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, Vocational High School Diploma preferred
-Higher level Machinist education or certification preferred
-10 or more years experience as a skilled Class A Machinist
-At least 8 years experience as a CNC programmer
-Previous experience using microscopes, hand tools, prints and specifications
-Manual and CNC machine experience required
-Strong Computer skills with ERP experience
-Detail-oriented
-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday
