CNC Programmer from Elgen Staffing

Our client, a precision metals manufacturer, has an immediate need for an experienced CNC Programmer, to join our winning team in Attleboro.

Our candidate of choice responsible for programming, setting up, and operating 3-Axis CNC Mills and CNC Lathes along with operating WEDM and Automatic Surface Grinders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Program CNC equipment using Mastercam to machine a variety materials like Tool Steels, Stainless Steel, Inconel, Aluminum and Brass.
• Develop workflows and write efficient programs using CAD/CAM software.
• Set up and operate CNC equipment, ensuring conformance to specifications through precise measurement.
• Adjust machine controls, tooling, and operations for optimal performance.
• Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Vocational/technical school education preferred with at least six years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software and a strong understanding of machining operations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to solve problems and improve processes.
