CNC Operator - Mill & Lathe
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator with experience in CNC Lathe or CNC Milling machines. Experience with both lathe and milling operations is preferred, but candidates with expertise in either will be considered. The role involves operating Haas, Nigata, and Mori Seiki machines to produce high-precision parts. A strong understanding of blueprint reading, machine programming, and precision measurement tools is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC Lathe (2-axis, 3-axis, live tooling) and/or CNC Milling machines (vertical and horizontal).
• Verify parts using precision measurement tools to meet specifications and tolerances.
• Edit programs and adjust machine settings to optimize production efficiency and quality.
• Select tools, fixtures, and workholding devices to ensure safe and accurate operations.
• Complete necessary documentation and inspections before submitting parts for final review.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Experience with CNC Lathe and/or CNC Milling machines, especially Haas, Nigata, and Mori Seiki models.
• Knowledge of machining principles, GD&T, and blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with Fanuc or other common CNC controls.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator, with expertise in CNC Lathe or CNC Milling.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a team environment.

Working Schedule

• Regular Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:15 PM (40 hours per week)
• Overtime: Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:15 PM (48 hours per week)
• Occasional Saturday work, if needed.
